Man walks into a bar, says to the barman, “what have you got?” Barman replies “2 pissy lagers and a dishwater cider.” Or, at least, they might as well in most pubs. We like taste and we like variety, so we source from a range of suppliers such as A New Wave and breweries themselves. Our house beer is Williams Bros, and we always have guest kegs, 3 guest casks and dozens of bottled beers. To keep things interesting (for you and for us) we have exclusives, beers of the week, monthly tap takeovers and rare kegs imported from around the world.

We source micro batch kegs & casks from across the globe. But don't hang around, they never last long.

House Beers

WILLIAMS BROS. – DRAUGHT. (4%) SCOTTISH CRAFT LAGER.

A crisp refreshing lager. Brewed from Pilsner malt & Styrian hops, then dry-hopped with N.Z hop; Nelson Sauvin.

WILLIAMS BROS. – CAESAR AUGUSTUS. (4.2%) LAGER / I.P.A. HYBRID.

Brewed as a lager then hopped like an I.P.A. Conditioned in tank with Nelson Sauvin & Citra whole cone hops.

WILLIAMS BROS. – JOKER I.P.A. (5%) INDIA PALE ALE.

A blend of 7 grains & US hops; Amarillo, Cascade & Citra. Golden in colour, citrus fruits & cedar on the nose, bitter/sweet on the tongue. It’s sure to put a smile on your face.

WILLIAMS BROS. – BLACK BALL (4.2%) NITRO STOUT.

A smooth black pint capped with a creamy head. Chocolate, roasted & 4 other malts produce a huge velvet mouthful that delivers a robust bitter finish…good things come to those who deviate.

MAISEL WEISSE (5.2%) WHEAT BEER.

A traditional German Weissebeer made according to the old Bavarian style with the unmistakeable character of the fine cellar yeast.

BLACK RAT (4.8%) CIDER.

Produced traditionally in a family Somerset cider farmhouse using a blend of locally grown apples. A strong dry premium cider with a clean apple bite.
